Energy Conservation

Through improvements in process/machine optimization and general energy consumption, our electrical usage was reduced by 24,811,289 kWh (enough to power approximately 2,067 average American households).

Our fuel oil usage was reduced by over 4,033 gallons.

Measurements include consumption of water, electricity, and fossil fuels.

Waste Recycling

Through aggressive recycling of cloth and yarn by-products, in-process materials, and cotton fiber reutilization, we reduced waste generation by 6,239 tons.
(equal to the amount of waste produced annually by 1,560 families of 5).

We recycled over 93,382,048 pounds of waste
(Equivalent tp the weight of the Titanic).

Packaging Efficiency

By actively limiting the amount of packaging materials used for transporting and marketing our products, we reduced cardboard consumption in packaging by 6,845 tons.

(the equivalent of 1,521 elephants)

Transportation

Through improved container optimization and reduced travel miles, we reduced trucking distances by 112,500 miles (the same as traveling around the world 4.5 times).
We reduced total Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 17,154 metric tons CO2e (the equivalent of GHG emissions from 3,364 passenger vehicles).

CO2e is calculated by multiplying the emissions of each GHG by its 100 year global warming potential. GHGs trap the heat of the sun in the atmosphere creating a rise in temperature and warming effect on the Earth.
