Tim Murray – piano instructor

Tim Murray has been playing music since about age 9. Born and raised in central NJ, he finally had enough of the cold and moved to Dallas.  Tim has about 25 yrs experience teaching music to all ages. While piano is his main instrument, he also has taught drums, guitar and saxophone.  For the last 2 yrs, Tim was the director of instrumental music and the accompanist for the Community Presbyterian Church in his home town.  He has instructed high school drum lines, church choirs, small ensembles and been involved in many different musical settings from weddings to funerals, musicals to rock and roll bands, school concerts to open mic nights.  Tim lives in Oak Cliff and loves his new climate!  He is looking forward to working with Mikal here at the Kessler Theater.
