About The Nine Lives of Catnose
Who is Catnose?
Catnose is named after Vanesa Catnose. She is the mascot of Catnose Comics, and star of The Nine Lives of Catnose. This character is modeled after Reverend Vas Littlecrow Wojtanowicz, the model on the photo above. (Credit: Prairiephotos)
How did the Nine Lives of Catnose come about?
This comic is actually a spin-off of Sammy, a college-themed comic strip by Vas Littlecrow Wojtanowicz. Our plucky protagonist was depicted as the artist who created Sammy. Originally published in free newspapers as a self-syndicated print comic in the Fargo-Moorhead area, The Nine Lives of Catnose eventually became the official webcomic of the Lemmecheck model and adult star portal until its conclusion 2009. We keep it online here for nostalgic reasons.
Who created this comic strip and why?
This webcomic comic consists of simple stories based upon the lives of the three former models who create this comic: Reverend Vas Littlecrow Wojtanowicz, Stef Davis and Lucinda Connaker. Other models are thrown into the mix for good measure, but those three are the main ones.
Is this a furry thing?
In case you’re wondering, Catnose is not an actual feline, but rather Reverend Vas’s alter-ego. The character’s name comes from a moniker given to Vas by a close friend back in high school. It refers to the distinctive feline cleft on Vas’s somewhat-famous schnoz. Seriously, Vas’s feline nose was featured in an article from the Star Tribune about quirky body parts.
