Our Vermont FarmsOur landscape was been dotted with farms long before we became a state, and some of these farms are still operating today. Adding farms to your vacation will offer you a different experience, one that is a peaceful break from the mainstream attractions, and one that offers you and your family an opportunity to meet the farmers, animals and see the crops that are so important to our everyday life.
We want to be ready for your visit, so if the listing says call ahead for tours, please do so. Biosecurity concerns are handled differently on each farm - sites with animals may ask you to wear plastic boots, walk through shoe baths or use hand sanitizers. These efforts are to protect both guests and animals - please comply with the farmer's wishes. Please do not walk through fields or buildings to find your host - leaving gates open or encountering aggressive animals can cause everyone problems.

FARMS - From Dairy to alpaca, llama and sheep there is a farm in Vermont to peak your interest.
FARM STAYS - Stay a night, weekend, or longer. Become a farm hand and enjoy a true farmer‘s breakfast in the morning. Some offer evening meals too.
ORCHARDS, BERRY PATCHES, STRAWBERRY FIELDS, VINEYARDS, GREENHOUSES, GARDENS and more. Whatever season you are here, there will be something fresh ready to harvest.
MAPLE - Spring is the time for sugaring. Many farms are open to show you the process of turning sap into syrup. Others are open year around offering a variety of maple products.
CHRISTMAS TREE FARMS - Come early, tag your tree and it will be shipped for Christmas.
PRODUCE - Watch for the farm stands and markets along the highway, everything from vegetables to apple pies.
CHEESE - Cow, sheep or goat - you will find it here. From the largest producer to the smallest the varieties go on and on.
CORN MAZES - Each one is different, challenging, and fun for all.
WAGON/SLEIGH RIDES - Relax, sit back and leave the driving to us.
