Empty Bowls

SOME in partnership with the Corcoran College of Art and Design will host our two annual Empty Bowls events this March. Empty Bowls is an opportunity to raise awareness about the growing issue of hunger in Washington, DC and to provide meals for the District’s hungry and homeless.

Guests are invited to help provide food for hungry men, women and children, by attending a simple soup supper where they may choose and take home a beautiful hand-crafted bowl that will serve as a reminder of those whose bowls are empty. All proceeds from the event will help SOME continue to provide more than 1,000 meals each day to hungry and homeless District residents.
