Brian Hensley was born and raised in Middletown Ohio. Brian met his beautiful wife back in 1996 and have been married since 1997. They have two beautiful children, one boy and one girl. Their son has been diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), which is a brittle bone disease. And their daughter is an honor roll student and plays for a local softball team. Brian’s interest in the paranormal field started way back as a kid. His father would always tell him stories of the house he lived in. So Brian began to wonder if those stories were true and the paranormal field really did exist. Or if his father was just telling ghost stories to scare him and his brother. So while Brian was in high school is when he had his first personal experience. His uncle had passed away and every night before bed Brian would try to talk to his uncle and would never get a response until one night. Brian had just finished telling his uncle he missed him and was asking for a sign. Then Brian got out of bed and when he stood upright he had an overwhelming sensation that filled his whole body. He then said out loud “Thank you uncle I’m glad you’re still with me”. And now that Brian has been officially investigating since 2006 he knows first hand that the paranormal field is real!

Brian has investigated various places from the infamous Waverly Hills, hospitals, schools, theaters, Kings Island amusement park, and many residential homes. The amazing part is that many of the places Brian has investigated had previously never been touched by other investigators. Brian has pretty much experienced everything from seeing shadows, to watching items physically move, to hearing his name called by a spirit through an EVP, to even physically being scratched.

Brian is constantly looking for ways to expand and enhance techniques for investigating. Which is why Brian and his best friend Nick McWethy decided to break away from the group they both started their paranormal careers with so they could freelance.

Brian and Nick want to be able to work with other groups out there so they can learn from them and help other groups out there along the way. They have decided to call themselves Crossover Paranormal. Which is why Brian and Nick are conducting Ghost Hunting classes at Poasttown Elementary school in Middletown Ohio. They explain everything from the equipment, to techniques, and everything in between. Brian has also given the classes for local museums and historical societies. He conducts these classes to help the organizations raise money to keep them running. Brian has appeared on multiple internet radio shows, news broadcasts, local FM radio shows, conventions, and get this a Ghost Hunter birthday party for a 9 yr old boy. Brian is also in the process of writing not just one but two books. So be on the lookout for those when they hit the shelf. While in high school Brian participated in theater and took first place in duet acting for a comedy piece in a national tournament. So not only does Brian bring a serious and professional side to investigating but he also brings a bit of comedy when necessary. After all who says that ghosts don’t have a sense of humor as well?

Nick was born in Independence, KY and was raised in Centerville, OH. Ever since Nick was a kid he has been interested in the paranormal field. Although at a young age he wanted to be a zombie hunter. Once Nick realized zombies were not real he turned his focus towards the paranormal field. With shows like The X-files and Sightings to peak his interest Nick wondered what it was that made things go bump in the night. So about 5 years ago Nick joined a paranormal group and became quickly involved with all aspects of the paranormal field. While working with this group Nick became the tech manager and it was his responsibility to set up and break down equipment as well as to figure out the best spots to set up this equipment. Nick became really involved with EVP work. Debunking and cleaning up EVPs came almost naturally to him. Nick does consider himself an EVP specialist but knows there is still a lot more to learn. Also while with this group Nick quickly became friends with Brian Hensley. Nick and Brian decided to break away from the team they were with to form Crossover Paranormal. Their goal is to be able to work with as many groups as possible. To be able to learn from these groups and hopefully teach them something as well.

Nick has been a part of numerous radio shows and has helped conduct several ghost hunting classes and tours through many places. Nick and Brian are currently conducting Classes and Tours through, what they consider one of the most active places they have ever been, Poasttown Elementary School in Middletown, Ohio...Nick was also a speaker at The Ohio Paracon where he talked about equipment he used during cases as well as explaining EVPs and how to clean them up and also about a few of his favorite places to hunt. Nick is working on a couple of books and hopes to have them out on the shelves soon...

When Nick isn't focused on Paranormal Investigating, which isn't often, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends!!
