Welcome to the coolest sport on ice

spacer spacer spacer spacer spacer
The official website for the Orange County Curling Club – The first, and only, Curling Club in Orange County. Started in January of 2010, we are a fun, and friendly club that welcomes players of all skill levels. With the support of Westminster ICE, we hope to keep the sport thriving for years to come in the greater Orange County area.

Curling is a team sport for all ages and abilities.  The object of the game is for two teams of four players to slide 42 lb granite rocks down a sheet of ice toward the "House".  A unique aspect of the sport is the concept of sweeping. Players vigorously sweep or brush the ice in front of the rock to keep it moving. The friction caused by sweeping, polishes and briefly heats the surface of the ice, which makes the rocks travel farther and straighter.

MOPAC 5 and under Open Bonspiel

Hey OC 5-Unders, registration is now OPEN for the bonspiel in Seattle (April 21-22).In order to be eligible for a "5 and under" bonspiel, you must have less than a total of 5 years curling experience.

MoPac is trying to hit the magic number of 10 teams by March 7th. Please register online thru the MoPac link below (you don't have to pay immediately). At that link, you will also find the Event Flyer/Rules that will help you determine if you are, in fact, still 5 and Under.

There will be great games, dinner (maybe more), some optional 'clinic' time and, yes, dedicated ice! Be there for this inaugural MoPac
