USDA Warns of Fraudulent Letters The USDA has warned that vendors of nutrition services may get a fraudulent mailing asking for personal or business banking information.

DHS updates the Joint Finance Committee on Medicaid negotiations The Department has been negotiating with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) on its proposed Medicaid efficiency proposals. Read the Department’s letter to the Committee on recent developments affecting program premiums.

Department Seeks Comment on Birth to 3 Draft Grant Application The Department has published its Draft 2012 Federal Part C Grant Application for comment. Part C is a program administered by States that serves infants and toddlers through age 2 with developmental delays or who have diagnosed physical or mental conditions with high probabilities of resulting in developmental delays.

And the CDC national award goes to… Wisconsin’s Division of Public Health received the 2012 Highest Childhood Immunization Coverage award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for achieving an 84 percent immunization coverage rate among children aged 19 to 35 months.

Long Term Care Sustainability Plan The Department is seeking input on proposed changes to Wisconsin’s long term care programs.
