Anna Nicole Smith Eviction Drama

There’s not been a lot of Anna Nicole Smith posts around here. Why? Because we didn’t want to blog about it, that’s why.

But this caught our eye and we just had to share…

The guy who supposedly owns the house that Anna Nicole lives in in the Bahamas, Ben Thompson, had the power turned off on Friday and flew down to the Bahamas to serve her an eviction notice. Well, Anna Nicole and her lawyers are having a wild time getting this sorted out.  In the meantime power is back on, but from what we hear the power is getting shut off again today.  What will Anna Nicole do next? Our bets are she’s going to flee the Bahamas for yet another country.. like Colombia or Cuba lol.

The drama played out in the Bahamas, where Smith has been living with her newborn baby and attorney Howard K. Stern. Smith’s former “friend,” G. Ben Thompson, claims to own the property and wants her out.

From her balcony, Anna Nicole had a few words for Ben Thompson, “"You get off this property. This is a gift and I ain’t ever leaving. And I’ll show you, Ben, you ain’t never gonna see the baby again! You did a declaration for that f***head Larry Birkhead!”

Marie Rudisill died in Hudson, Florida on November 3, 2006, at the age of 95, just before the publication date of her latest book, Ask the Fruitcake Lady: Everything You Would Already Know If You Had Any Sense, on November 7.  R.I.P. Fruitcake Lady, there will never be another lady like you. :(

It’s a Happy, Joyous Day! Britney Files for Divorce!

I’ve been gone all day today and just came in to find the news that Britney Spears has filed for divorce from Kevin Federline --- who will now be known as FED-EX!!!!!!!  Oh Hallaleujah, there are angels singing in heaven.  I’m so proud of her for coming to her senses. Fed-Ex was such a low life and she deserved so much better than him.

She looked fabulous on her surprise guest appearance on David Letterman last night.

Love you girl! You made the right choice. Divorce is never easy, but it’s better to cut your losses and move on in a case like this.  Of course the Federjerk is going to get some $$$$$$ but you know what, it’s probably worth it to get him out of her life.  Plus she’s going to COME BACK and make lots more!!!!!!!!

Hannah Montana Rocks the Music Charts

I didn’t know that the girl who plays Hannah Montana was the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus. But then again, I’m not the one in this how that watches the show.

The soundtrack to “Hannah Montana” is the first TV soundtrack to debut at No. 1. Pretty cool. The kid is talented, she must have gotten it from her father? Who knows.  And why hasn’t he made any more music? His “Achy Breaky Heart” is almost a cult classic in the country music genre.

The 13-year-old offspring of 1990s country music star Billy Ray Cyrus grabbed the No. 1 position on the U.S. pop charts Wednesday with the soundtrack to her hit Disney Channel cable TV series “Hannah Montana,” her label said.

The Walt Disney Records set sold more than 280,000 copies in the week ended October 29, becoming the first television soundtrack to open in the top slot, according to the Walt Disney Co.-owned label.

”Hannah Montana“ stars 13-year-old Miley Cyrus as a schoolgirl who leads a secret nocturnal existence as a famous musician. The disc mostly consists of tunes credited to her titular alter ego but Miley and her father perform a duet on one track.

Billy Ray Cyrus, who plays her dad on the show, is best known for the 1992 novelty single “Achy Breaky Heart.” His debut album, “Some Gave All,” topped the U.S. pop charts for 17 weeks that year.

Walt Disney Records also released the No. 1 album of 2006, the soundtrack to the Disney Channel TV movie “High School Musical,” which has sold more than 3 million copies. It scaled the charts to spend two weeks at No. 1 earlier this year.

Quite impressive. She sold more than several big name musicians did this year when their records were released.  No I am not going to name names here, I’m a nice blogger.

Guess you’ll have to add me to the “buyers” list as my daughter just exclaimed that she wants the Hanna Montana CD for Christmas!

Anyway, this post was supposed to be about Madonna and her clan arriving at New York’s JFK airport from London. She brought LLL & RR along for good PR. That’s Lourdes “Lola” Leon and Rocco Ritchie along for good public relations.  She’s got a whirlwind of a schedule and you’ll be seeing her on all the major outlets this week. Lucky us! At least the adorable little David is with her, so it will be must see tv. Anyone know of the status of all of the Malawi controversy?

Shouldn’t Lola and Rocco be in school?

Dakota Fanning is Snow White this Halloween. The photos above were taken at the 13th Annual Dream Halloween® fundraiser at the Barker Hangar of the Santa Monica Airport. This event benefits the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF). This fun-filled event was hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis.

I still think her Tinkerbelle dress would make a great Halloween costume though.
