We can now officially confirm Melanie and the band will play at the 2012 Isle of Wight Festival. Melanie will perform a 45 minute set on the Sunday (June 24th) on the Garden Stage. For more information about the festival and to buy tickets click here.

Melanie is very happy to announce that she will be joining forces with Andrew Lloyd Webber on ITV1's brand new entertainment show 'Superstar'. The primetime TV show will see Andrew Lloyd Webber search to find someone to play the title role of Jesus in a new arena tour of the legendary rock opera 'Jesus Christ Superstar', which will open at London's O2 arena later this year.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has enlisted the help of Melanie and Jason Donovan as well as casting expert David Grindrod to assist him in his search for a 'Superstar': "I'm pleased to appoint David, Jason and Melanie to assist me with the candidates during Callbacks as I select my final 40 to go further for intensive training. They will be using their unique arena and stage experience to help me narrow down my choices for the live shows. What we're looking for is a rock star who will go on to sing the role of Jesus in the UK's first ever arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar."

Melanie will be assisting Andrew during all the various stages of the competition, something she is definitely looking forward to: "I'm a huge fan of Andrew's incredible work over the years. I am honoured and excited to work along side him helping to find a performer with the raw talent and charisma to play the title role of Jesus."

The 'Superstar' shows will air live on ITV1 this summer.

Good news! Our supplier has started pressing new DVDs and we will be replacing all damaged discs completely free of charge within the next few weeks. If you are indeed experiencing playback issues, there is no need to contact us or our merchandise partner BSI, as we will be replacing ALL discs which have been sent out already. We plan to start shipping out the new DVDs within the next two weeks, the damaged discs do not need to be returned to us.

We also would like to point out to those of you whose order has not been shipped out yet, that we also hope to send these out within the next two weeks. Please note that these orders will contain the newly pressed discs. For those of you who didn't manage to order the DVD yet, make sure you keep an eye on www.MelanieC.net next week as a small amount of extra DVDs will become available for purchase in our online store - we will let you know when these have been added and are available for purchase.

Also, as some of you may have heard, Melanie is very excited about her plans for the coming months. Check back early next week to find out more!
