Welcome to St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce
Welcome to St. Marys, Ohio. On this website, you will find an opportunity to get to know our community and its residents. We are very proud of our resources in St. Marys. The Miami and Erie Canal weaves a path through the heart of our town. We also enjoy the benefits of living close to a small, inland lake, formerly a reservoir of water to feed the canal. We have beautiful parks, dedicated both to recreation, history, sports and more. We are business friendly, being 10 miles from I-75, clean water fed by the underground Teays River, and job ready sites.
As Executive Director of the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce, I have the privilege of interacting daily with many wonderful people and organizations. It is through this interaction that our organization has been afforded a very unique perspective on life in Auglaize County.
The mission of the Chamber is to facilitate a strong business climate in St. Marys and to assist our member companies in meeting their full potential. We promote jobs and progress while encouraging consumers to shop in St. Marys first.
A local chamber of commerce is a great way to meet new business people. You have to participate and work the network, but you'll be glad you joined. From what we've heard, most chambers around the country feel obligated to see their member firms do well and they are a great place to meet like-minded entrepreneurs who you can trade notes with.
You will also find a great amount of information about our businesses, our community and our residents in the pages that follow. You will want to check out Our Members page for the businesses who call St. Marys home. You may also look into the Become a Member page, and find out what is happening in the Events/Calendar section and special sections dedicated to community events.
So, I invite you to visit St. Marys through this website and I hope that after spending some time you will come to find that St. Marys is a place of world-class businesses, schools, healthcare providers, recreation, and some of the friendliest, hardworking people you will ever meet. In addition, we are a community of rich history. Join us in St. Marys – “Where living is a pleasure and the great history lesson is free.”
