Free Ales Bialiatski !
Ales Bialiatski, FIDH Vice President and President of the Human Rights Center "Viasna", was sentenced to four and a half years strict regime detention and confiscation of his properties on November 24, 2011. He was charged with «serious tax evasion» and has been detained since August 4, 2011. There is no doubt that this trial and sentence punished his activities of human rights defender.
FIDH and its member organisation HRC "Viasna" are calling for his immediate and unconditional release.
