Real Food Farm is Civic Works’ innovative urban agricultural enterprise engaged in growing fresh produce on six acres of land in Clifton Park in northeast Baltimore. We broke ground in October 2009 and since then we have been busy growing food, educating youth, partnering with community organizations, and bringing more real food to Northeast Baltimore.

Mission statement: Real Food Farm works toward a just and sustainable food system by improving neighborhood access to healthy food, providing experience-based education, and developing an economically viable, environmentally responsible local agriculture sector.

Read on for more detailed information about the history of Real Food Farm, our project goals, the amazing partners that make it all possible, and archives of media coverage.
