The Photograph of the Week is sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Professional Ink Jet Printers.

About us

photo.net started out in 1993 as Philip Greenspun's home page at MIT. We are now a group of more than 100,000 photographers working to help each other become better. Our editorial goal is to serve busy readers who want clear answers to questions. When we review equipment, we do it from the perspective of "In what kinds of photographic situations would this be the right choice?" In building community, we value members who provide constructive criticism and helpful assistance to other members.

Please see letter from the editor. Kodak and its updated Porta film are sponsoring our photo sharing system.

Bored with your job?

photo.net is hiring! We currently have the following openings for part- and full-time work:

  • Graphic Designer
  • Programmer
  • Director of community
  • System administrator
  • Forum moderator (part-time, volunteer)
