When the celebrations went to the Waikiki Shell in the summer of 1991, it was the beginning of a wonderful showcase of the Contemporary Hawaiian Music scene of young Hawai’i. For 2 days in July, musicians played, crowds sang and cheered while cameras captured the energy of the evenings.
