What you already know:

The vast majority of the public today sees a website as lending credibility to an endeavor.

The problem, in most cases, of not having a promotional website to support an event is really simple to explain:

The budget

More often that not, what a promoter might want in terms of a website to promote an event boils down to having champagne tastes on a beer budget.

The cost/benefit ratio of having a website created to promote an event simply doesn’t work out most of the time.

The fact is: Even at bargain basement prices, it will easily cost an event $115 for web hosting and a domain name - but no website. How much the website part costs is anyone’s guess. A lot of promoters have to settle for "information only" websites that lack even the basic features that would really promote their event effectively.

Where R.A.P.S. is coming from:

We were approached in early 2011 by a group of Rotary Clubs to put together a website to support Rotary International’s -- End Polio Now campaign. A funny thing happened:

After we developed the site, we found other groups asking how much it would cost to have a similar site developed for their special event.

With some point-blank questions, those potential clients told us that what the original [ThisClose] with John Fielder website was so far and beyond what any one expected to see, we, at HirMon, had to ask ourselves: Is there any real reason why we shouldn’t make a similar kind of website available to other groups?

Nothing came to mind, so - we did. That original website because the core for what is now the R.A.P.S. website promotion solution.

Something to consider:

We realize that the R.A.P.S. solution isn’t for everyone. Some will look at the layout and design with disdain, some will consider $400 "too much" and still others will just be "skeptical."

Well, we can’t help those folks and won’t bother to try.

The question that usually is a big stumbling block for prospective R.A.P.S. clients is this one:

How important is [this or that] to your promotional website? (Thats not the important question...)

Why? (Thats the big one!)

Its easy to get carried away with "wants and wishes," but the reality is that spending between $1,000 to $5,000 for a Flash™ website to promote an event that might net $1,500 - is, well, questionable.

And lets not forget that a lot of promotions are less than 6 months so - wheres the cut-off point between expenses and potential return-on-investment? (Thats something you have to decide.)

On the other hand if a R.A.P.S. solution will meet (or exceed) your needs, is $400 enough?

In most cases - R.A.P.S. is an option.
