With the least narrative to save space, the following items are included within all R.A.P.S. websites for the $400.00 leasing fee (needed or not, they are always there):

  • A .com domain name of the client’s choosing; subject to availability
  • Up to 4 months of first-class web hosting, with the option to extend the life of the site to 12 months at a rate of $10/month for months 5-12.
  • A R.A.P.S. website similar to this one with the following customizations. See Customizations below.
  • Full access to the Administrative console that allows event staffers to update the site in-house.
  • All website software required to run the site. (No special PC software required.)

Customizations included at no additional charge:

  • A simple graphic header (like the one at the top of this page) created to reflect the nature of the site
  • Changes to the page background (e.g. the "fade" from black to white)
  • Setup of the Copyright notice on every page’s footer to reflect the organization holding the event.
  • Setup of the horizontal navigation links to include categories and links appropriate for the nature of the site.
  • Interface of the sales page to the PayPal account supplied by the client.
  • Based on the information provided by the client through their Homework assignment (link opens a word processing document in a new window; close to continue with this page), we will set up all pages on this website replacing the green text shown on those pages with the information provided by the client. Once set up, changes to the text become the responsibility of the client.

All R.A.P.S. websites contain the following pages, whether they are needed for a specific event or not (people change their minds):

  • Home page - detailing a general synopsis of the event
  • About us page - identifying the individuals promoting the event
  • Menu page - used to showcase food to be provided at an event, if any
  • Presentation page - used to detail the presentation or activities that will be held at the event
  • Calendar page - free-form text entry for those events running multiple days or having multiple sessions within the activities.
  • Shopping cart - used to sell things like fundraising items, admission tickets or other items. Can be used to access a third-party ticket sales site.
    • Fixed rate shipping (most appropriate for local promotions)
    • Not crippled! Full functionality
    • Online admin (update, remove, add)
    • And more.
  • Map page - graphic representation with accompanying text (client supplied) that presents the location of the event
  • Sponsors listing page - to showcase those individuals, organizations and companies that are sponsoring the event, including:
    • Ability to associate corporate logos
    • Identify by up to three (3) levels of sponsorship
    • And more
  • Sponsor recruitment page - to allow potential sponsors to make "first contact" to become a sponsor
  • Auction donations - a listing of items donated for either a silent or bid-based auction, including:
    • Creation of silent auction bid sheets from the list of items entered
    • Creation of a "blank" bid sheet (for other items)
    • And more
  • Auction item donations solicitation - a page to allow potential donors to notify event organizers that they have items to donate
  • Contact page - as seen on just about every website, a way for visitors to contact event promoters for more information
  • Staff Information page - A way to keep staff members up-to-date and includes a facility by which files (up to 75MB) can be downloaded
  • Up to five (5) optional pages which can contain any text and photographs necessary to support the presentation of the event.

Also included are online website update programs that allow in-house staffers to maintain the information and photos on the site personally.

See: Administrative Console for a description and links to a live demonstration site.

Other options: We also provide R.A.P.S. clients with other options as well:

  • For those organizations using R.A.P.S. annually, we will make the presentation available in the future and re-leasing the original site is only $300.
  • In some cases, we can also install a client’s R.A.P.S. website up as either:
    • A permanent, stand-alone website.
    • A "secondary" website under their existing website (always available; just link to it.)

The last option can be complicated, depending on the resources a client may (or may not) have. For that reason, setting up a R.A.P.S. site as a stand-alone (or part of an existing website) is subject to further discussion and will be quoted separately.

For questions about any of these items, please use our contact page on this site.
