All the hero's & legends I knew as a child have turned into idols of clay.
Yet this is what I say : "Show me the way !" Take me tonight, to the river to wash all my sorrows away & please show me the way !

"What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve" This is so much of Mario. He is one of the most positive individuals I have met. Always has something refreshing to brighten your day.

Well I greatly appreciate your feedback on my work Mario I would be lying if I said I wasn't offended but I do accept your apology and would like to become friends. I do however want to share a bit of my true views of things. See this is the issue I have with such things such as religion. Religion has such strong implication and really strikes a deep nerve hence why friends especially strangers should not talk about two things and that is religion and politics I however like touching base on the topics I feel they are taboo the things that no one ever talks about from what I can see. I feel that the teachings of the bible do have good intentions and are great guidelines on how to conduct ourselves as humans but that is where I feel it should end and not because I am set out to banish religion all together but because their teachings should be separated from that of the spiritual side of questions such as where did we come from and is there even a god at all and this is where science comes in. Physics, chemistry, astronomy, medical science because these are the things that bring us closer to the answer of where did we come from? that is a question not any book can ever offer even if handed down by saints. our understanding of the universe we live has seen great strides in understanding who god is because its a quest to understand a piece of the mind of god and a quest to know where we came from and how was life ever conceived in the first place in such a vast universe and I mean vast!!! I do strongly believe that there is a creator or divine architect that created all of us and religion does have good teachings and that goes for all religions. but it's illogical to think of fantasy things such as life after death or a heaven or hell because fact of the matter is we are here alive right now and this is all we got. life after death or is or even is there a heaven or hell these are ideas we should not construct as a reality since we don't know what will happen in the end and fate is fate what ever is to happen in the end of it all doesn't matter. because all that matters right now is the right now. We want to be spiritual on a higher level like finding god at the end of life but how can we know a god when we spend our whole lives with aimless realities about something we can't currently answer. when we should be trying to find out who we are first. you live as yourself but do you "Really" know yourself and I mean that on a spiritual level. I feel sorta connected with reality and physics of. I see the world a lot differently than most I understand the reality we live in and by understand I mean the mechanics of the universe how things work I think in the end if there is a god I think it wouldn't be punishment in hell or destroyed existence altogether it will be something like "So what did you learn?"

hey Mario just sending you this message in response to your comment on my poem "god is dead? I blame religion"
I am truly sorry that you feel the way you did about my poem but i do feel you misinterpreted its reason. I never made claim in the poem that god is dead only through the idea of religion is he dead. God or a creator is very much alive. although i do appreciate the feed back i do however feel your comment about me being "dead" is ignorant and offensive... Ignorant in the sense that you didn't understand the poem to make such a irrational statement such as that and offensive due to the fact that saying I am dead is contradictory from your perspective since you have religious beliefs and roots which doesn't condom such behavior from its follows and further proves my point of irrational and misinterpretation of religion. I do study physics, philosophy and logic and have read the bible and Quran i am a very intelligent person and find it very sad the ignorance in people.

Love your content, but no rythem in your poems, kinda sparatic

Mario,

Thanks for your kind wishes. For me, writing poetry is its own reward. Should someone else enjoy what I write, that's icing on the cake. I only recently started to share my works for others to read. I find the varied response interesting. Although I think this forum causes others to give low votes only to see their own works rise in the rankings. There are many, many poems here worth 4 / 5 stars yet the best on the list only get 3!? Doesn't make sense. Good luck with your writing and keep it going - it all adds to making a better world.

Yet for now we only can see through a very tiny portal,
Then the light is welcomed to all of his children to come in..
What is truth ? (Pilate Muttered)
Perhaps take a deeper look at my poems,
This may help you ?
