TOBY POMEROY is proud to be using Oro Verde gold, the Fairtrade and Fairmined, eco-friendly gold, responsibly mined in the Choco bioregion without the use of any chemicals.
TOBY POMEROY proudly partners with the following organizations: Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM), Fairtrade Foundation, No Dirty Gold, Earthworks, Ethical Metalsmiths, Fairjewelry Action, MJSA, and Oro Verde.
TOBY POMEROY pioneered the use of EcoGold, helping initiate the first source of fully reclaimed metals for the jewelry industry. He has since traveled the world to find sources of gold that are obtained from socially and environmentally responsible sources.
He serves on the Board of Directors of ARM, the Alliance for Responsible Mining who, in partnership with the Fairtade Foundation, introduced the worldโs first ever Fairtrade and Fairmined gold in the UK. The US is anticipating having certified FT&FM gold available late in 2012.
