Seventh place in the Womens event at the LIEBHERR World Team Championships in Dortmund was the end result for the host nation; they recorded a three-two win over Poland to conclude matters.

Thinking back to the close defeat two days earlier against Singapore, the final position could have been higher and it did not match the bronze medal achievement of four years earlier.

However for Irene Ivancan it was mission accomplished and for Natalia Partyka it was a satisfactory conclusion.
