HONEYHONEY

SONYA KITCHELL
In a brave new world where vintage American has helped the likes of Mumford & Sons and the Avett Brothers achieve headliner status, Los Angeles duo honeyhoney ought to be rising stars." - Buzz Bands LA

DANIEL WAYNE
with
THREEFIFTY DUO
"(DANIEL WAYNE) is one of the TOP 5 NY ACTS you MUST SEE IN 2012"
- CBS.COM

"If you haven't heard a truly great voice lately, you might want to check out Daniel Wayne. There's no doubt that distinguishing yourself as a singer-songwriter can be difficult; it's a style where it's easy to be mediocre, difficult to be great. But that voice puts to rest the doubters - sweet through the middle and upper ranges and flawless on the high notes, Wayne is instantly recognizable as well as accessible."
-nyctaper

"One of the stand-outs of the night was Daniel Wayne....a cross between Harry Nilsson and the spooky tones of "Twin Peaks." EXAMINER.COM

"..., but Daniel Wayne went on first, stole the show, and was an incredibly hard act to follow." -DAILY NUGGETS BLOGSPOT

"Daniel Wayne plays that steel string, sunburst Guild guitar like his mama told him not to. He dresses like Johnny Cash, has attitude like Bob Dylan and plays bar chords with his thumb. You'll think this guy's a real-live outlaw until he sweetens up between songs and starts calling the audience "y'all." Sometimes bluesy, Daniel Wayne has a classic country backbone with eerie undertones: like if Jerry Reed had written the Natural Born Killers soundtrack. Slow songs like "Far From Here" sound like My Morning Jacket, while "The Fool" gristles like a basey Townes Van Zant song."
-Jenny Luczak, Deli Magazine

DOC MARSHALLS TOUR KICK-OFF SHOW!
Nashville, TN's Cajun honky-tonkers, the Doc Marshalls, are launching their biggest North American tour at Union Hall. They have recently veered away from traditional Americana and Louisiana rhythms in favor of crooked, glimmering folk reminiscent of Bonnie Prince Billy, Phosphorescent, and A.A. Bondy. Their new album, "Look Out, Compadre" (May 15, 2012), uses lush choruses to sing tales of last stands, exploding houses, love gone wrong, and the calm that forgiveness brings.
ALANA AMRAM & THE ROUGH GEMS
Alana Amram & the Rough Gems' latest release, "Painted Lady", is largely a family affair, with mom, sister, and father (prominent jazz composer, David Amram) in tow. Rounded out by a cast of first rate local performers, the Rough Gems are a versatile vehicle for her most country-influenced effort to date. Amram's jangly acoustic guitar and reverb-kissed melodies recall the best elements of the Byrds-era California country rock.

TOMMY STINSON

KURT BAKER

TRAPPER SCHOEPP AND THE SHADES
TOMMY STINSON, founding member of the seminal Minneapolis-based rock group The Replacements, and current bass player for Guns N' Roses and Soul Asylum, has released his second solo effort, One Man Mutiny, on his own Done To Death Music label (distributed by Redeye).

Stinson will donate a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of the album to the Timkatec Schools in Haiti. Last summer, Stinson held an on-line auction and raised over $40,000 for the schools, which have housed and provided skilled trade education for abandoned and orphaned youths in the Petionville district of Port-au-Prince for over ten years. The schools' fund-raising needs have drastically increased in the wake of the 2010 earthquake, and as a result Stinson remains committed to his on-going effort to raise funds for them.

Stinson, whose career began at the tender age of 13, has spent his entire life thus far making music and touring incessantly, leaving an indelible mark in the world of music and pop culture. After the Replacements stopped playing in 1991, Stinson went on to form his Faces-flavored group Bash & Pop and the more straightforward Perfect. His first solo release, Village Gorilla Head, was released in 2004 receiving praise from the critics and the fans. In 2005, Stinson also scored his first movie ("Catch and Release" with Jennifer Garner) with BT. Stinson is currently helping Soul Asylum put the finishing touches on their upcoming release and continues to tour with the group, as well as with Guns n' Roses.

CAT MARTINO
DALTONIANS
PATRICK BOWER
Rumor has it her birth father was a guitar player from Texas; She was mouthing melodies before words. Truth is Cat Martino is a voice emerging that draws you in by its natural strength and intimacy. Cat calls her original style "Some kind of Soul". It's a little bit indie-folk-rock-experimental, born from influences diverse as Laura Nyro, The Beatles, and Bjork… Cat played her guitar, piano, and looped her voice and instruments to create layers that dream a sound all her own.

DEAD FLOWERS PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS
THE GRIP WEEDS
"A Grip Weeds song is so distinctive and unique that it obliterates most pop pretenders, retro-mongers, and fetishists." -All Music Guide.

"We like to mix it up in Jersey and The Grip Weeds are a great example. A touch of John Lennon, a bit of The Byrds, a dash of The Kinks, pinch of The Who, and a dallop of more muscular Zombies and you get something quite original. And quite cool." -Little Steven
THE ABOVE
(PICTURED)

The Above are a rock and roll group hailing from Brooklyn, New York. Some folks might call them a garage band . . .others might describe their sound as rhythm and blues... but regardless of how they are categorized, it is undeniable that their music compels some serious dancing. With tube amps screamin', drum kits stompin', and vocal harmonies wailin', these ambassadors of freakbeat are making good in the city where rock and roll will never die.
