Sean helps businesses, brands and individuals tell their story – and tell it well.

The agency he founded, TBD, currently advises a wide array companies on their brand, marketing and content strategies. Their diverse group of clients covers a broad span of business sectors from social media companies (dorthy.com), best selling business authors (Made to Stick), old guard publishing companies (Sports Illustrated), interactive television (BIAP), and even traditional packaged goods (Simplicity). He is equally comfortable in start-ups and start-overs alike.

Prior to this, Sean was the Vice President of Communication Architecture at Wal-Mart Stores where he both managed their general market and multi-cultural agencies and oversaw the development of all customer-facing communications in-store, online and for advertising.

Before Wal-Mart, Sean was Chief Creative Officer of Saatchi & Saatchi X, the global shopper-marketing network where he helped rollout 15+ offices in Europe, Asia and South America. Clients included American Express, Coca-Cola, Disney, General Mills, Gerber, Hallmark, Novartis, Procter & Gamble and designing Wal-Mart’s upscale Plano, TX store.

Prior to Saatchi X, Sean started ADV|ENT the Entertainment Marketing division of ThompsonMurray, Inc. where he advised on content strategies for Procter & Gamble, Energizer and Wal-Mart Stores.

His eclectic background also includes launching a publishing company, starting a brand strategy practice for a boutique consultancy, working in product development at a greeting card company, and short stints as a pasta chef and an editorial cartoonist.

He was educated in Art and Theology at John Brown University. He earned a master’s degree from the Peter Stark Program at USC’s School of Cinema-TV.
