About Mary
A few facts…
- I live in Utah and I’m married to a man-child outdoorsman.
- I have two hilarious little girls who I’m enamored with.
- I have two needy dachshunds who I’m obsessed with.
- I work at a ski resort in order to fuel a latent ski bum fantasy.
- I grew up in Florida and I ski like a person who grew up in Florida.
- I live for food and I’m always thinking about my next meal.
- I love fashion and decorating but have no idea how to implement either.
- I once quit a corporate job to spend a year backpacking around Asia.
- I have about a thousand more places to visit before I die.
- I enjoy mountain trails but I have an irrational fear of cougars.
- I don’t like mountain biking and I’m okay with that.
- I like my ski runs to be groomed and bluish-green, and I’m okay with that too.
I believe that mountain adventure is not just about skiing with a snorkel in the backcountry or scaling the side of a cliff. There’s a tamer, less extreme side of mountain adventure and that’s what I’ll be exploring in this blog. Welcome to The Bunny Slope!
