Crucifixion on Victoria Street walk
On Good Friday, the annual Crucifixion on Victoria Street walk will begin at 11:45am outside Methodist Central Hall. The cross will be carried in a silent procession along Victoria Street stopping at Westminster Cathedral for a prayer and reading from the Bible followed by a meditation. The cross bearer will then lead the procession back up Victoria Street to Westminster Abbey.
Passion of Jesus 12 noon & 3.15pm in Trafalgar Square
On Good Friday over 120 actors will portray the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, some healing miracles, his betrayal, arrest, trial before Pontius Pilate the Roman Governor, the Crucifixion, burial in the tomb and His Resurrection - a wonderful, exciting and heart moving performance.
