A Message from Thom Bond
Executive Director, NYCNVC

It is with deep gratitude and awe that we announce the opening for registration for the 2012 "Integration Program" and "Peer Leadership Program".

Why We Offer These Programs

My "Compassionate Communication Career" started in 2001, after reading Marshall Rosenberg's book "Nonviolent Communication, a Language of Life." It provided answers I had been looking for since childhood.

Marshall's work showed me that there really are skills and practices that we can learn, that empower us to be more compassionate... ways of thinking, speaking and acting that allow us to skillfully move through conflict without hurting or hating.

In the same way that other great thinkers have developed other technologies, thanks to Marshall Rosenberg, the technology of compassion has advanced. He has distilled a way to think about being human, that can help create a world we would be happy to leave our children's children. My gratitude for Marshall's gift is impossible for me to express to my satisfaction. These programs are designed to impart and spread this gift.

The Integration Program (Starts May 25th)

The Integration Program (IP) is for people who have a clear understanding and experience of NVC and are inspired to make it part of their lives on a daily basis. It is a learning and growth support system that includes workshops, coaching, and practice groups. It presents a vital connection to a community of like-hearted souls who are committed to creating a more wonderful world by being the change they want to see. CLICK HERE for more information.

The Peer Leadership Program (Starts May 7th)

The Peer Leadership Program (PLP) is for people who are inspired to learn, live and teach the concepts, consciousness and practice of NVC.

It is designed for people who have been studying NVC for (usually) one to five years and hold an intention to be a "Certified Trainer", an Independent Trainer" or a "Dedicated Practitioner."

The PLP offers ongoing learning and opportunity to teach NVC.  By providing an abundance of experience and support, it affords learning and growth with velocity.  It presents a exceptional opportunity to learn the skills to be an NVC Facilitator or Trainer while developing and supporting your own practice in your community.

These programs were designed for one purpose. To make life more wonderful. I hope and pray that you take the time to read more about them and the workshops they include. It's my honor and dream, to share this with you.

With Love and Gratitude,

Thom
