spacer Ashley Davis Bush, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist in Epping, New Hampshire specializing in couples therapy and grief counseling.  She is the author of three self-help books: Transcending Loss ,  Claim Your Inner Grown-up and her new book  Shortcuts to Inner Peace:  70 Simple Paths to Everyday Serenity.   Her work focuses on helping couples connect, coping with losses,  maximizing one’s potential, finding inner peace, and navigating transitions.   Ashley shares her thoughts monthly in her newsletter, Still Waters:  Tools and Resources for Living Deeply.  She facilitates two online grief support groups, one for grievers on facebook.com/transcendingloss and one for finding inner peace facebook.com/shortcutstoinnerpeace

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Smith College and a Masters in Social Work degree from Columbia University.  She has a certificate in Contemplative Studies through Smith College School for Social Work and has advanced training in Emotional Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).  Ashley worked in community mental health in New York City for ten years and has been living and working in southern New Hampshire since 1997.  She is currently writing “Shortcuts to Intimacy:  70 Simple Paths to Love and Connection Every Day.”

Ashley is a frequent public speaker and workshop teacher.  Since 1992, she has delivered keynote speeches to professional and community organizations across the country and has taught workshops on the subjects of grief and loss, relationships, parenting, personal empowerment, Buddhism, transitions, stress management and inner peace.

Ashley and her husband, Dan, have a blended family of five children and four pets!

Ashley is also a classically trained soprano and regularly performs with local choral groups and community theatres.  She currently sings with Harmonium, a local acapella group.

TLC is owned and managed by Ashley and her husband Dan.  This website was created by TLC as a resource to Ashley’s clients and readers and to any other individuals facing one of life’s challenging transitions.  The mission of TLC is to reach out to people who are suffering emotional pain from loss and major life transitions and to offer them support and guidance as a means of facilitating their emotional and spiritual growth.  To achieve this mission, we provide therapeutic services, workshops and seminars, on-line support and written materials designed to stimulate healing.
