Eleven years ago I joined the staff of Soli Deo Gloria and began the most enriching and formative professional experience I have ever had. Now, after many treasured adventures in the company of great friends and great music, the time has come to begin a new chapter in my life and to allow the same to take place in the life of SDG.

On September 9, 2011, my tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer of SDG comes to a close. The following week I begin a new job as Executive Director of Art Saint Louis, an organization that specializes in contemporary visual art. This move to Saint Louis follows a deep and long-held desire of mine to relocate to the Saint Louis area to be near family. After years of consideration, I believe the time is right to make this change.

It is certainly not without a sense of loss that I move on from leading SDG. But I carry with me deep gratitude for the board, staff and donors of this unique organization–dear friends all who account for the greater part of SDG’s success. And I look forward to joining those who have always carried the most important job: cheering SDG on and supplying the means to pursue what I continue to believe is a very promising future.
