Arts in Education

Manhattan New Music Project collaborates with schools to create customized partnerships. Since 1993, we have partnered with over 100 New York City schools across all five boroughs to foster original student creation that complements school curriculum and supports learning.

We provide in-school and out-of-school programming and professional development in music, dance, theater, visual arts, creative writing, and moving image. Our programs emphasize skills-based, hands-on learning and are custom designed to engage students and educators in the creative process.

MNMP’s arts in education programs are offered year round and can range from one-day workshops to multi-year residencies.
