Originally named Merced Community Medical Center, Mercy Medical Center Merced evolved from a small, one-story wooden building erected in 1853 to care for the county's poor and indigent populations. Today, we’re a major healthcare provider featuring the Mercy Cancer Center, the Mercy Surgical and Diagnostic Center, obstetric and children’s services, an outpatient center, and several rural clinics.
