Paul Washer

Paul Washer became a believer while studying at the University of Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies and enrolled at Southwestern Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Divinity degree. After graduating, he moved to Peru and served there as a missionary. Paul ministered as a missionary in Peru for 10 years, during which time he founded the HeartCry Missionary Society to support Peruvian church planters. HeartCry’s work now supports over 150 indigenous missionaries in over 26 countries throughout Eastern Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Paul now serves as Director of HeartCry Missionary Society (www.heartcrymissionary.com). He and his wife Charo, live in Virginia with their children: Ian, Evan, and Rowan.
David Miller

David Miller has been an evangelist for over 30 years. He has a passion for expository preaching and sound doctrine within the local church. He is the President of Line Upon Line Ministries and travels across the nation preaching the gospel of Christ. Although David suffers from a degenerative disease known as muscular atrophy, he continues to travel and preach from his wheel chair for the glory of King Jesus. Although he has many physical limitations, God has gifted David with a keen mind and ability to memorize the Bible. David resides in Heber Springs, Arkansas with his wife Glenda.

Tim Challies has been labeled the “mega-blogger” of the evangelical Christian world. In a real sense, Tim has been used by God to write and address many major issues within the evangelical church community. Although Tim has not pursued an official education through seminary, he has been educated through his passion to read that eventually spawned his website (challies.com) and affiliation with Discerning Reader and Cruciform Press. Tim is more than a blogger, he is a husband, father, author, and pastor. Tim resides in Toronto, Ontario with his wife Aileen and their children.
Steve Lawson

Dr. Steven J. Lawson is the Senior Pastor of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. The focus of Dr. Lawson’s ministry is the verse-by-verse exposition of God’s Word. He is the author of sixteen books, the most recent being Pillars of Grace, Foundations of Grace, The Unwavering Resolve of Jonathan Edwards, and The Expository Genius of John Calvin. Dr. Lawson is a Council member of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals and serves on the Alliance Executive Staff. He is a Teaching Fellow with Ligonier Ministries and a Visiting Professor at the Ligonier Academy, The Master’s Seminary, and Samara Theological Seminary in Russia. Steve and his wife Anne have three sons and a daughter.
Donald Whitney

Dr. Donald Whitney is the author of Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life (NavPress, 1991), which has a companion discussion guide. He has also written How Can I Be Sure I’m A Christian (NavPress, 1994), Spiritual Disciplines Within the Church (Moody Press, 1996), Ten Questions to Diagnose Your Spiritual Health (NavPress, 2001), Simplify Your Spiritual Life (NavPress, 2003), and Family Worship (Center for Biblical Spirituality, 2006). Voddie Baucham

Voddie Baucham wears many hats. He is a husband, father, pastor, author, professor, conference speaker and church planter. He currently serves as Pastor of Preaching at Grace Family Baptist Church in Spring, TX. He has served as an adjunct professor at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, TX, and Union University in Jackson, TN. He has also lectured at Southern Seminary. Voddie Baucham holds degrees from Houston Baptist University (BA in Christianity/BA in Sociology), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min.), an honorary degree from Southern California Seminary (D.D.), and additional post-graduate study at the University of Oxford, England (Regent’s Park College). Voddie and his wife, Bridget have been married since 1989. They have seven children, Jasmine, Trey (Voddie, III), Elijah, Asher, Judah, Micah and Safya. They are committed home educators.
Joel Beeke

Dr. Joel R. Beeke serves as President and Professor of Systematic Theology, Church History, and Homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He has been in the ministry since 1978 and has served as a pastor of his current church since 1986. He is also editor of the Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books, president of Inheritance Publishers, and vice-president of the Dutch Reformed Translation Society. He has written, co-authored, or edited fifty books and contributed over fifteen hundred articles to Reformed books, journals, periodicals, and encyclopedias. His Ph.D. (1988) from Westminster Theological Seminary is in Reformation and Post-Reformation Theology. He is frequently called upon to lecture at Reformed seminaries and to speak at conferences around the world. He and his wife, Mary, have three children: Calvin, Esther, and Lydia.
Chip Thornton

Dr. Chipley McQueen Thornton became a believer while preparing to enter law school after graduating from the University of Alabama. He turned down law school to enroll at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He attained a Ph.D. in Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he wrote his dissertation on the sufficiency of Scripture in preaching. Chip has served as elder (pastor) of two congregations in Kentucky. He has a passion for expository preaching and planting/strengthening churches. Chip currently resides in Birmingham, AL with his wife, Kerri, and his children: Libby (8), Boaz (4) , Titus (2), and Lazarus (1).

Rev. Dr. Jon D. Payne serves as senior pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Douglasville, GA, and Visiting Lecturer in Practical Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He is Series Editor of and contributor to the new Lectio Continua Expository Commentary on the New Testament (www.lectiocontinua.com), the author of John Owen and the Lord’s Supper (Banner of Truth, 2004), In The Splendor of Holiness: Rediscovering the Beauty of Reformed Worship for the 21st Century (Tolle Lege Press, 2008), and co-editor of a forthcoming collection of essays celebrating the 450th anniversary of the Heidelberg Catechism (Reformation Heritage Books, 2012). Dr. Payne is also a frequent contributor to Modern Reformation Magazine. Jon and his wife Marla have been married for thirteen years and have two children, Mary Hannah (9) and Hans (7).
