(Weekend rendezvous)

The Fleet has scheduled the following weekends to
rendezvous. These are very informal events and a great way to get together. BYOB
and bring an appetizer to share during happy hour. The Rock Hall Fleet
Radio Net is VHF channel 78. Hail on channel 16, then switch to
"net" (ch.
78) for fleet radio communications. You are also welcome to arrive by car
- remember to bring your handheld VHF so you can hail us and someone will
come by dinghy to pick you up.

May 20
– Swan Creek - Kick off the season at Spring Cove Marina, just
upstream from the Gratitude Yachting Center's Office and Docks!

June 3
& 4 – Langford Bay - The Rock Hall Rendezvous at The Rock Hall Yacht

24 – Mill Creek – Pass Cantler’s to port, and anchor in the
protected cove up the creek. We’ll dinghy back to Cantlers’ for happy
hour.

July 8
– Galesville – Located on the South River, Galesville is always one
of our favorite Mini'Vous! The anchorage is big with room for 20+ boats,
and docks are right next to the anchorage.

Aug. 5
– Betterton - Anchor off the beach, or further up the Sassafrass
River, in Turner Creek. If you can arrive early, you will enjoy all the
festivities of Betterton Day. The parade starts at 10:00 am. This was
a great time last season!

Sept.
16 – Miles River, St. Michaels – Dock at a marina or anchor in the
river. Explore all the new exhibits at the museum, and plan on a crab
feast at the Crab Claw. |
