We have been proud owners of three (3) Island Packets over 15 years (IP31,
IP35 & IP40). However the IP40, which was our home away from home our
"floating Condo," was by far our Pride and Joy! From the many hours of
planning and commissioning to experiencing wonderful adventures, meeting new
people and enjoying the sights and sounds of many foreign ports the center
of it all was our "RelationShip".
Our goal and enjoyment was to have the best maintained and
pristine boat
anywhere. It was gratifying to have three sailors on three different occasions
ask us, during our trip South (October, 2000) if "RelationShip was a new
boat.. She looks and sails like
new! Toothbrush cleaning & polishing on the
topsides and "Q-Tip attention below decks is the answer.
"RelationShip" might not be new but like all good
relationships, a great deal of Love and Caring has been given to and received
