We are located in the Baixa district, at the very centre of Lisbon’s main attractions: Alfama, Bairro Alto, Rossio and Praça do Comércio. Should you choose to be among our guests, you’ll be sleeping at a comfortable walking distance from the historic neighbourhood of Alfama, motherland of Fado, with its Miroadouros (sightseeing places) and the Castle of São George, offering a breathtaking view over the city centre and the Tejo river. Sé Cathedral and the historic ‘eletrico’ 28 (tramway) are just a few blocks away. After a day spent discovering Lisbon’s most charming jewels, you will be caught by the contagious frenzy of Lisbon’s nightlife in Barrio Alto, whose restaurants, clubs and cafés are at a very short walking distance from our Pensao.

Metro station Baixa-Chiado
- The Baixa-Chiado metro station is literally right across the street, at one minute walking (Baixa-Chiado). Once at the station platform, follow signs for the Rua do Crucifixo (Crucifixo Street) exit. You can reach Baixa-Chiado directly from the international train station Santa Apolonia (blue line).
