2007 Late Harvest Semillon - Nectar

A beautiful yellow gold color that will darken with bottle age. Made in the Sauternesstyle with botrytized grapes. Rich aromas of orange peels, honey, almonds and apricots. The flavors of dried peach, apricot, honey and toasty almonds are perfectly balanced with a natural sweetness and acidity.

2007 Special Selection Series JoLi Meritage

A beautiful, deep ruby red. Aromas of ripe black cherries, anise, tobacco and clove/cinnamon spice. A hint of sweet vanilla and rosemary. Dried cherries and licorice on the entry with a lush blackberry dominating the mid-palate. Tannins and acid are both very prevalent, yet balanced, which makes this a beautiful wine with food. The finish is long, with hints of currants and again the rosemary.

Instantly big cherry and cranberry notes on the nose, with hints of soft white pepper, cola, cocoa butter and a floral scent of violet. On the entry, rich and juicy taste of cocoa, bright bing cherry, ripe strawberry and tones of molasses. Elegant mouth feel and a smooth finish. Pairs well with pork loin, duck and chicken breast.

2008 Erwin Vineyard Pinot Noir

Very purple; with a bit of a watery rim. On the nose I get cola, cherry, earth and mushroom. This wine is so much more like a French Burgundy then a California Pinot Noir. The fruit flavors are secondary to a very complex richness. A bit of truffle, spice, vanilla and cola on the entry. Very subtle red cherries in the mid-palate. Finishes up with soft tannins, solid acidity and a very long, smooth end. The flavors last on the palate for at least several minutes.

2008 Lila’s Cuvee, Rhône Style Blend

Rich and dark. Opaque garnet color. Aromas of ripe raspberries, dark roasted coffee, strawberries and sour cherries. A hint of leather and bacon. The first flavors of fruit to hit the palate are true to the nose. Raspberries, cherries and strawberries. Medium acidity in the mid-palate. Would be great with a rich stew. Moderate tannins balance out the acidity and fruit flavors. A long finish with hints of vanilla and cocoa.

2009 Whitestone Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

$50.00

A gorgeous, rich dark opaque purple. On the nose, I get black currants, dried cherries, anise, and a hint of rosemary. On the mouth, the dried cherries combine beautifully with currants and blackberries. Vanilla, a hint of mint and bright acidity balance with the tannins. A long, velvety finish. This wine will age nicely for 5-8 years.
