The Four Firkins ® is the only liquor store in Minnesota that sells nothing but beer.

We love beer as much as you do; it's all we sell. Craft Beer and quality imported beer from all over the world. No Bud, no Miller and no Coors. Just good beer. 

The second thing you should know about The Four Firkins ® is just how quickly we sell the beer. We are a destination store for the entire Twin Cities metro, even surrounding states, which means our inventory turnover is truly staggering compared to most liquor stores. One thing you will never find here is a dusty bottle of beer!

We protect the beer from U.V. light by blocking all the windows and filtering all artificial light in the store. As you might already know, U.V. light is beer's worst enemy. 

All of our staff, even our cashiers, are extremely knowledgeable on the subject of beer.  Our staff members are Certified Beer Servers through the Cicerone Program and we have a Certified Cicerone® on staff. Some have even taken the B.J.C.P. program. We are all homebrewers and can help you with any questions you might have regarding beer. Be it brewing, history, or style specifics, we have you covered.

We are friendly, non-elitist, and here to help. We don’t like the phrase “Beer Snob”. We are not snobs we are “Beer Geeks”. We want to share our passion with you.

Come see our amazing store. It is nothing like a typical liquor store. We put as much care into the decoration of the place as we have the treatment of the beer. We even have a Minnesota beer history museum!
