Neoteric is a group of spiritual believers advocating a non-acquisitive, inclusive, and decentralized spirituality modeled after the open-source paradigm of the software world -- without the rigid, authoritarian hierarchies and controlling moralistic doctrines of many modern-era religions.

We believe that science is the key to taking our spiritual exploration and evolution to the next stage. Through real-time processing of brain activity, visual and auditory feedback tools will help spiritual practitioners to more effectively advance their meditative skills. Using data obtained from studies of practitioners across diverse faiths, the Neoterics are developing hardware and software systems directed toward this goal.
