Visit Rocheport's Historic School House Bed + Breakfast
The School House Bed + Breakfast is a wonderfully restored 3-story brick building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally a schoolhouse, this building was converted to a bed and breakfast in 1988 and serves as the perfect starting point for your relaxing Rocheport, Missouri retreat. Located midway between St Louis and Kansas City and only 15 minutes from Columbia, Missouri, the School House Bed and Breakfast is an easy drive for an overnight getaway from the stresses of daily life or to celebrate a special occasion! And the quaint town of Rocheport (pop. 239) offers fine dining, our local Les Bourgeois winery, the scenic Katy Trail and unique antique and artisan shops.
The School House consistently gets an "A" for the most important meal of the day! Fresh-brewed coffee or tea, juice, fresh fruit salads or compotes, freshly baked scones or muffins and our signature stuffed French toast or baked omelets characterize our hearty, multi-course guest breakfast served in our second-floor Common Room at 9 am. For early departures, an earlier breakfast time is available by advance request.
A visit to Rocheport slips the bonds of our modern world's hectic pace and provides a welcome retreat to a quieter, simpler time. We provide a secure bike storage shed with an air compressor and bike maintenance tools for your convenience. Traveling without motorized transportation? We are happy to shuttle
Inn guests up the hill to the Les Bourgeois Winery Bistro for a great
dinner after a long day's bike ride. And Inn guests who want to enjoy the Katy Trail after 11 am check-out, but need a place to shower and change clothes for the drive home are welcome to use our Locker Room in the Dormitory House next door to the School House Inn.

two private guest rooms each with private baths, a complimentary laundry
facility and our secure bike storage shed serves the Katy Trail cyclist with self check-in/out and self-serve continental breakfast stocked in-room for your convenience.
