League Results, Season 2010/2011

spacer

Noodle House Irish proved that their 2010 season title was no fluke as they wrapped up their second consecutive Division 1 league title in 2011.
Whilst the Vets finished their worst ever season, finishing considerably off the pace in fourth position, Ocean Marine and Safa FC took their best places in the DAFL with 2nd and 3rd respectively.
With Steve Rutter taking over the Vets for the forthcoming season, it is safe to say that the Vets should not be written off at this stage.
At the bottom of Division 1, both Getmo and Vets B found the going tough, although Vets B were notable in gaining results against the top 2.

In Division 2, Vets C and Romanians early season form sustained to see them finish 1 and 2 in Division 2, despite hard chasing by both DHL and Safa B.
Frogs struggled with consistency of players and suffered some heavy beatings at the hands of fellow teams. New management and structure for them will see Frogs regroup for the new season undoubtedly stronger. Mongrels bow out of the league after many seasons presence.

In Division 3, MBC started and remained several streets ahead of the opposition and will undoubtedly face bigger challenges in Division 2. Behind MBC, a real scrap for second place saw several teams look strong at various points in the season. It was the outstanding late season form of Panthers that won through, leaving behind frustrated Istanbulls and Precor.
