Coldplay to tour in November
After postponing their February visit to Australia, Coldplay have sorted their “personal reasons” and planned a full tour Down Under this November.
Although tour dates and venues won’t be announced until next month, the UK band’s Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland appeared on Channel 7′s Sunrise this morning to reveal the outdoor arena tour.
“Well yeah I’m sorry about that I got sick in January-Feb, now I feel bad,” Martin joked. “But we are, we’re coming on tour, like proper.”
Martin has also said they haven’t “finalised the Australia-specific sections of the show” but told news.com.au they will have the crowds sporting LED wristbands to create a light show that will be controlled by the band.
“It’s a little self-indulgent on our part but we love the way it looks when thousands of people all have lights on them,” he said. [Source]

Coldplay Postpone Australian Tour
Coldplayhave postponed their upcoming Australian tour.
The British rockers had been scheduled for a series of small radio station performances and a string of TV appearances in Sydney this week, but have put off the appearances, telling fans that personal reasons caused the postponement:
“We sincerely apologise to our Australian fans for having to postpone next week’s scheduled trip. We miss you guys and we promise we’ll make it up to you. In fact, stay tuned for a big announcement soon.”
Frontman Chris Martin was visibly ill with a cold when he performed a charity show in Los Angeles last Wednesday, prompting rumors that his sickness is the reason for the postponement.
The group’s latest album, Mylo Xyloto, was released last October. [Source]
