What is God's Principle of Individuality?
God- The Supreme Being; Jehovah; the eternal and infinite spirit, the creator, and the sovereign of the universe.
Principle- In a general sense, the cause, source or origin of any thing; that from which a thing proceeds; as the principle of motion; the principles of action.
Individuality- Separate or distinct existence; a state of oneness.
Far from being a description of an individual's self-reliance, we begin to see that God's Principle of Individuality is a description of God's diversity and infinity being revealed in everything in God's universe.
Snowflakes, fingerprints, eye color, hair color, skin color, DNA, pine cones... the list goes on and on.
We could rephrase our definitions above to say, "Jehovah, as the cause source or origin of everything, in His distinct existence manifests his infinity and diversity through His creation."
"Everything in God's universe reveals His infinity and diversity. Each person is a unique creation of God, designed to express the nature of Christ individually in society. The parent ... cultivates the development and flowering of the talents which God has placed within each child."1
