Irrational Passions

Irrational Passions is just a group of gamers that eat, sleep, breath, and most importantly, play video games. We all love games, so much so it is a little crazy. We are the future faces of the video game industry, so it all starts here!

We are an all-American team formed in Maryland, and now Florida with Joseph joining the team. We’re on an all Eastern-time schedule.

We may be young and somewhat less experienced then most, but this group is truly the embodiment of our beginning. From this site and this podcast, we enter the gaming industry, and will be broadcasting out to hundreds, even thousands of gamers who just want to hear about the latest in their Irrational Passions.

A website for news, reviews, and opinion, we bring you our unique and one-track style as well as a great podcast for your enjoyment, which is always full of crazy antics, guest hosts, and segments you’ve never heard before.

The Team

Alex O’Neill

Alex is the leading voice on Irrational Passions Podcast, as well as the producer. He is pushing the site hard to get feedback on his writing, as he intends to continue into the industry as a video game journalist. He is the overlord to Irrational Passions and was the genesis to its creation, along with Evan and Scott.

Scott Guthier

Scott is the head geek on the team, and is working his way into the programming world. He serves as the second host on the podcast, and takes the reins when Alex isn’t around. He has big plans of getting into game design after college, and will be making the games you’ll be playing.

Evan Wall

Evan is a very special member of the team. He came to Alex with the intention of starting a podcast, and so Scott came in for the mix. He is a little goofy, can be childish, but he is serious about the gaming industry. Along with Scott, Evan will be designing and coding the games you will be playing.

Joseph “AcesHigh” Fait

Joseph joined up with the crew officially on October 1st, 2010 when he appeared on Episode 13 of Irrational Passions Podcast. When Joe first came on the show for episode 10, the chemistry was instantaneous. As the fourth voice on the podcast, you can tell he loves the show. He is just as passionate and irrational as Alex, Scott, and Evan, and has helped the team get in deep with PR of several game developers.

Chris Sheehy

Chris is the fifth member to join the team, joining up on November 19th, 2010. Chris isn’t always on the podcast, as he has other commitments, but he definitely mixes well with the already great team, so he decided to try and do his part, whatever that may be. You may hear is voice on the show from time to time, and you may also see some of what he has written. Either way, we’re sure you’ll fall in love with his adorable charm.

Tony is the sixth to join up with the Irrational Guys, joining up May 10th, with Episode 43. If you want to know a bit about Tony, know that he loves the free-to-play PC game League of Legends, was an X-Bot but is warming to PS3, and thinks hard mode is the only way to play games. Tony is hardcore, but he loves playing with new people, so email him and get in on those games!
