Greg — The Highlander Showmatch featuring the top 3 teams in European Team Fortress is taking place tonight at the earlier time of 20 CEST and with the classes chosen by the TF2 community it should be a night of fun, sprinkled with seriousness thanks to the generous prize dontation of £500, £450 going towards the match and £50 up for grabs via a viewer competition, this game has so many reasons for you to tune in live with VanillaTV’s CommanderX and a special guest.    Arie will be providing streaming for VTV tonight!

After the week long team poll each player has finally been assigned his class and they can be viewed here:

Unfortunately some the players may not be available to play tonight due to some unforseen circumstances, these players are – KnOxXx, Royze and Retshock.  Replacements for these players will be found, mainly from the now disbanded Team Yoyotech.

The maps have also been finalised and are: pl_badwater, koth_viaduct and pl_upward

Trath — It was supposed to be yet another regular Sunday, but then out of the blue Team Dignitas – the organization, not the team (there is no team) made an announcement: they will be hosting a 1 day cup for TF2, which being kindly sponsored by Alienware, means cash prizes. Sui – the guy that lets you know of all sorts of Dignitas related news on IRC, casually spilled out the announcement that there is a TF2 cup, and linked to a page with specifics. You can check out the Cup page, filled with all information needed such as how to sign up, cup rules, what to do on game day, etc – here.

Trell — We’re bringing you a super fast cast tonight – as Team Infused take on nonamefound (aka TCM, aka Byte’s Team) in the 5th round of the Upper Bracket in the Velociraptor Cup.  Only 1 map, which will be cp_gullywash, and  Byte was quoted as saying “Infused will win 5-0″ – mind games or defeatism?

Tune in tonight at (roughly, depending on when a certain caster gets home from work) 21:15 CEST with  Comedian streaming, and  Greg and  Chaplain casting.

Lucky Luke – In this episode of eXtravision we are mainly covering: Valve back, ETF2L Highlander, Custom HUD’s & The Hot Line.

Trath — Its the eSport Heavens Cup ( Angel’s cup if you will ) finals, and who’s in it for the match of their lives if not Season 11 Champions, Team Infused versus the (still sore?) #2′s Epsilon eSports.

The two top teams of Europe meet for the first time since the Season 11 championships, and the stakes are high. More than just the prize ( which I cannot recall what it is :D ), this is about pride and legacy. Epsilon lost the dominance that they had for a nice amount of time, when they lost to Team Infused in the season 11 finals. This match will determine whether Epsilon still have it, and they just “flunked” a little at the finals, or whether Infused truly are the #1 right now after showing outstanding performance in the finals.

Epsilon look to regain their kingdom, Infused look to show that there is a new pimp in town. This match will answer the big question: are we in for a new era in European TF2?

On VanillaTV’s Open mics are Sal and  Skyride, with  Warden manning the stream.

Califax — I have always been someone who is interested in the people behind the pixels. Where do they come from? What do they do outside of gaming? And, where do they wish to go in the future? So, hoping I am not the only one, I’ve decided to start a new interview series, and the title kinda says it all…

In the coming weeks I will be publishing interviews, that go a little deeper on a personal level, with well-known members of the TF2 community, without mentioning who is answering the questions. It’s up to you guys, to figure it out! When I publish the next interview, I will confirm who the previous interviewee was.

The goal for these interviews is for everyone to get to know these individuals a bit better, not to make it super hard on you guys to guess who it is, as my expectations for this community are rather high (even the trolls), so i know you guys will figure out who the interviewee actually is quite fast.

Javier is the name of my father and he is teacher in a highschool, my mother is Carmen and she works in the department of customer service for the government. They are still happily married and I hope that won’t change in the future.
