In 2003, from a corner in her New Jersey basement, Jen Singer launched MommaSaid.net, a place for moms on the brink of desperation to laugh and linger. Since then, the virtual community for mothers has grown to reach thousands of faithful visitors around the world.

MommaSaid’s creator, Jen Singer, a mom of two boys and the hostess of the frat house for middle schoolers, has been quoted in numerous magazines, newspapers and web sites, including The New York Times, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Associated Press articles, Family Circle, Parenting, Parents, Real Simple and more. She has appeared on ABC’s World News Now, NBC News, CBS The Early Show, the CBS Evening News, Fox & Friends, Parents TV, The Today Show, WPIX New York, as well as dozens of radio programs, including the WCBS NewsRadio88, Sally Jessy Raphael Talk Net and XM’s Take Five.

MommaSaid.net is the sponsor of the annual holiday for part- and full-time stay-at-home mothers, Please Take My Children to Work Day, which has been officially declared by governors in a dozen states.

In 2005, MommaSaid received a Forbes Best of the Web designation for Parenting Blogs. It is featured in “Blogosphere: Best of Blogs” (Pearson Education) by Peter Kuhns and Adrienne Crew.

Health Communications books published a series of MommaSaid parenting advice books, MommaSaid.net presents: Stop Second Guessing Yourself — Baby’s First Year, Stop Second Guessing Yourself — The Toddler Years, and Stop Second Guessing Yourself — The Preschool Years by Jen Singer. All three books feature real-world, mom-tested tips and advice from MommaSaid’s fans.
