First read this document before installing the plugin.

 

Install Automatic Blog Plugin For First Time

  1. In your WordPress Administration Panels, click on Plugins from the menu.
  2. Click Add New in Plugins drop down menu and click on Upload link on top bar.
  3. Choose automaticblog.zip file from your local computer and click Install Now.
  4. Click on link Activate Plugin.
  5. If you see any error - repeat process from step 1.
  6. In Settings menu click on Automatic Blog and configure settings.

 

Upgrading from previous versions

  1. In your WordPress Administration Panels, click on Plugins from the menu.
  2. To turn the Automatic Blog Plugin OFF, click Deactivate and then Delete.
  3. Click Yes, Delete these files.
  4. Follow steps from 'Install Automatic Blog Plugin For First Time' part of this document.


Configuration Settings

Author Bio CSS: You can set custom CSS style for author bio box.
e.g. %; font-style:italic;
will make this box smaller and italic.
Read more about CSS here.

According to the Articlesbase TOS you must leave the author bio box, so don't set font size to 0.

Click on button Save Changes after changing this field.


Posting Interval: Plugin will run every X hours where X is random time between two values you set in this field.
If you leave X as it is (between 12 and 24) plugin will generate random time between 12 and 24 and every next post will be done after period of time that is randomly generated value between 12 i 24 hours.
On each run it will post one article, so your blog looks human for Search Engines and real visitors.
If you want to post more articles per day set it to 1 and 3 (it will post between 8 and 24 articles per day), or 1 and 2...etc...
My advice is to leave it as it is - 12 and 24.

Click on button Save Changes after changing this field.


Add New Task: Click on Add New Task button to start with new task.

Task Name: This is just for you to remember what is current task about.
Task Type:
  • Keyword - Keyword based task will post all articles from Articlebase that contain your keyword in title.
    In field Enter Keyword enter single keyword (e.g. dog training or forex or make money online)

  • Category - Category based task will post all articles from one category or subcategory.
    From drop down menu Select Category choose category.

Minimum Words: Articles that have lower number of words will not be posted to your blog.
IMPORTANT: If you choose some high number (e.g. 800) you will not get so many articles as there are not many of them in Articlebase directory.
Negative Keywords: If you use Category based task, set here negative keywords.
Articles with these keywords in title will not be posted to your blog.
Prepending Text: Set custom text before article.
Appending Text: Set custom text after article.
Target Category: To what category on your blog articles will be posted.
Article Status:
  • Publish - Articles will be live.
  • Draft - Articles will be in draft mode and you need to manually publish each from WP admin.
