The ECCS-2010 conference will be held at the Lisbon University Institute, also known as ISCTE, located near "Entrecampos", in the northern part of Lisbon in Cidade Universitária (University Campus) together with the main Faculties of Lisbon University.

Lisbon University Institute is a Public University Institute with activities in the areas of social, technological and management sciences. IUL offers degrees at the graduate and post-graduate (master programmes and PhD.) levels in areas such as Management, Computer Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Economics, Psychology, Architecture and Law.

Arriving to Lisbon by plane

The Lisbon Airport, providing service to the capital of Portugal, is the busiest and most important airport in the country. It is inserted in the urban fabric and therefor inserted in the transportation network of the city, making it easy and fast to travel to/from. More information.

Getting there by car

Go up the Avenida das Forças Armadas.
Turn north at the crossing with Avenida Prof. Gama Pinto. The crossing is located at the highest point of Avenida das Forças Armadas.
Turn to the second street right.
Turn to the first street right.
The main entrance of Lisbon University Institute is at your left.

Getting there by train

Leave the train at the Entrecampus station. Look for the exit leading to Avenida da República.
Walk north for about 250 m towards the Rotunda de Entrecampus (a circle).
At the circle, turn left to the Avenida das Forças Armadas.
Climb west for about 300 m towards Sete Rios. Use the sidewalk on the right.
The entry leading to Lisbon University Institute will be at your right, immediatly after the canteen of the University of Lisbon.

Getting there by bus

Get on any Carris bus with numbers 54, 701, or 732.
Leave the bus at the “Faculdade de Farmácia” stop, at the top of Avenida das Forças Armadas, close to an old house with ia battlemented roof.
Walk down the avenue for about 50 m. The entry leading to Lisbon University Institute will be at your left, immediatly before the canteen of the University of Lisbon.

Getting there by subway

Leave the train at the Entrecampos station.
Exit the station through the north exit, leading to the Rotunda de Entrecampos (a circle), close to Avenida das Forças Armadas.
From the circle, go west, up the Avenida das Forças Armadas, for about 300 m. Use the sidewalk on the right.
The entry leading to Lisbon University Institute will be at your right, immediatly after the canteen of the University of Lisbon.
