Good Goers Mission-Based Adventure Travels

A Joint Adventure of Family Christian Stores & The James Fund

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
– James 1:27

OUR MISSION

We exist
to serve and glorify God.
to unify people and organizations in caring for orphans and widows.
to help people find, grow, share and celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ.

Energy around The James Fund is increasing. By God’s grace, more customers are engaging with the mission; vendors are graciously helping to raise more funds; even artists are lending their voices to the cause.

In turn, The James Fund is able to grow.

Missions have expanded into more countries and impact more lives for Christ. There have been more adoptions and more connection to widows than ever before. At the same time, we have been blessed with increased funding, new partnerships and volunteer involvement. God has lifted up this precious cause unwaveringly. We are compelled like never before to follow His lead.

This We Know Without A Doubt

We at Family Christian Stores and The James Fund proclaim that God is King of the orphan and widow. He is Lord. He is the light in the darkness. He is the hope when hope is rare. And we know this every time we see The James Fund badge and consider His Word, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” -James 1:27

Good Goers was born of The James Fund mission. It grew directly out of having a heart that seeks to engage the church more fully -to bring its wealth of experience and competency to orphans and widow outreach. Today, the mission, the adventure and the privilege of serving others is Good Goers.
