Coldplay to tour in November

05 March 2012

by Poppy Reid

After postponing their February visit to Australia, Coldplay have sorted their “personal reasons” and planned a full tour Down Under this November.

Although tour dates and venues won’t be announced until next month, the UK band's Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland appeared on Channel 7's Sunrise this morning to reveal the outdoor arena tour.

"Well yeah I'm sorry about that I got sick in January-Feb, now I feel bad," Martin joked. "But we are, we're coming on tour, like proper."

Martin has also said they haven't "finalised the Australia-specific sections of the show" but told news.com.au they will have the crowds sporting LED wristbands to create a light show that will be controlled by the band.

"It's a little self-indulgent on our part but we love the way it looks when thousands of people all have lights on them," he said.
