Three full-time residential Land and Garden Internships are now available for 4-6 weeks each, to run between May and the end of September. We are looking for proactive people who are engaged in horticultural study or that of a closely-related subject (e.g forestry) and/or have a keen practicing interest in gardening and land management. Previous experience of practical horticulture is essential. More information is here.

Eastside Projects and Grizedale Arts presents Yangjiang Group’s first solo exhibition in the UK. After Dinner Shu Fa at Cricket Pavilion is a prototype community use cricket pavilion that combines post-planning, social shu fa (traditional Chinese calligraphy)and a space for hosting, cooking, eating, photographing, and watching cricket. The project is part of the longer term ambition to design a new multi use Cricket Pavilion for Coniston Cricket Club in the Lake District.
Grizedale Arts - Adding Complexity to Confusion is a lavishly illustrated romp through the last decade of our projects and it's now available to BUY ONLINE HERE.

A short documentary about Childs Play by Ray Davies is now available to watch at artplayer.tv the new online player for art content developed by FACT for Arts Council England.
Child's Play is a play for school children written by Ray Davies, produced by Grizedale Arts in collaboration with the John Ruskin School in Coniston. It was performed by six former pupils from the school, the play, with live music, provides a commentary on the aspirations and disappointments through the decades of modern Britain since the Festival of Britain in 1951. Directed by Russell Peet, music by Ray Davies, performed by Sam De La Haye and Arthur Mazzer. Click here to view Childs Play online.
The play was developed from an concept developed by artist in residence Alexandre Singh, for a number of artists to write new plays for school children. Other plays in development by Momus, Liam Gillick and Rita Sobral Campos.
