A design experiment overcome with fanboy hormones gave birth to modHero. It was then retconned into "Art".

While we’re on the topic of Star Trek - Here’s a commission I did a while back for a geek’s library featuring Bones and The Orion slave girls!!

If you’re not in NYC, or can’t make it, please spread the word to other geeks you know! It’s going to be an awesome show with over 25 artists having created art inspired by the handsome helmsman. NORMAN OSBORN
The clothes make the man. That’s what they say. But what if a man makes his own clothes? And what if those clothes suggest deep sociopathic tendencies? Does that mean they are making the man who wears them crazy? Or was he crazy just to make them? Does it all devolve into some snake-eating-its-tail cycle of madness and murder? We’re talking about Norman Osborn, right? Then the answer is YES. He be crazy. (In a perfectly tailored sort of way.)
bryanthephotogeek asked: Yes I was at NYCC! I was sporting a geeks out shirt and I got a small print with it since my friend bought the batman and robin print! Again wish I saw your booth!
Ah, darn. I must have missed you then. The Geeks OUT booth was where I was set up, but but not for the whole weekend. We had an artist table with several rotating artists (including me.) I feel like I may have met you there amidst the blur. Thanks for getting a print!
My dear fans and friends - I have not posted any new modHero art in a while. Sorry about that. There will be some new stuff soon. For now, please accept this picture of Wolverine on a Tauntaun fighting Joan of Arc riding a Chocobo as Mars crashes into Middle Earth as a message of love from me to you. Happy Valentine’s Day.

gabibfigueiredo asked: in the X-Men art, who is the woman between Dazzler and Magik? I've been trying to figure her out, but neither my friends or I know who she is :(
That’s the lovely and talented Stacy X!
I’ll be at the NYC Dare2Draw; Face2Face arts convention tomorrow, so please stop by and say hi! Great talents will be in the house. (Neal Adams and Mark Texiera to name two!) I’ll be at table #2.
gailsimone:
Or know someone great who is and does, I would appreciate hearing from you. Just a short bio on your work, and a link, if you have one, would be lovely.
It’s for something cool, but I don’t want to give away too much yet, while we are still in the very early stages. No one will be solicited or…
Hey, I’m Josh aka Rogan Josh / Josh Siegel, queer graphic designer, founder of Geeks OUT and creator of the comics-inspired digital pop-art series modHero. Much love.
