Library Card Discount Brochure |
Boone, Campbell, Kenton, and Grant County Public Libraries collaborate with local businesses to bring their patrons "Discounts with a Library Card" during the month of September. All libraries and businesses display posters and make brochures available to customers/patrons each September. There is no charge for businesses to participate. The libraries share the cost of the brochures and posters and do all the legwork. The program is advertised via a local radio station and local television stations. In five years, this program has grown from one library system with 11 participating businesses to four library systems and 102 participating businesses. The program has increased new card sign-ups, brings new customers into the businesses, and promotes goodwill within the communities through library patrons and local businesses. |
